So here it is, my very basic guide on creating a spacescape...
i hope it´s useful for you^^
I tried to explain the simple creation of a planet and a spacefield. maybe i´ll do another one for the nebula stuff..^^
excuse my english, i´m from austria...i hope i translated all the filters etc right into english^^

oO hast noch nie was gemacht? Wennst dir das geld sparen willst probier mal gimp...der kann auch ganz schön viel :) Mit dem hab ich auch angefangen..auf arbeit^^
